The Carrier Dome opened in 1980 as home to the Syracuse Orange basketball, football, and lacrosse teams. The Carrier Dome box office is located on the University of Syracuse campus at 900 Irving Avenue. The arena has a seating capacity of 49,262 and was constructed for just over $26 million.
